We not only want to help those in unplanned pregnancy situations, but anyone interested in learning how to have healthy relationships before they face an unplanned pregnancy. We invite you to schedule an appointment to meet with one of our client advocates individually to discuss which topics you would like to learn more about and that interest you. All of our services are free and confidential.

Nearly 750,000 teen pregnancies are reported annually in the U.S.t

In the 1970s, only two STDs were common and both were curable. Now more than 25 STDs have been identified, and several are incurable.t

An estimated 9.1 million teens and young adults are newly infected with a sexually transmitted infection annually.t

Many people infected with an STD do not realize they are infected or that they are passing it to a sex partner because symptoms may not appear for months or sometimes years.t

Abstinence is the only 100% reliable method of prevention. No birth control method -not even condoms- will guarantee safety from pregnancy or disease.t

In the state of Maine, over the last five years, 71% of all STD cases reported to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) were diagnosed in persons younger than 24 years of age.tt
