Alpha’s Annual Walk for Life is a family-oriented fundraiser to celebrate the miracle of life, while raising funds needed to serve our clients and provide for their needs.
The Walk is approximately 2.5 miles beginning at Gowen Park, past scenic Number One Pond, and up Main Street in Sanford. Bring the whole family and join us for this fun event!

If you would like to participate, but are unable to join us, you can simply register, collect pledges or donations online, and walk on your own in your neighborhood!

Although it is a fundraiser, there is no cost to participate in the Walk for Life. All funds raised through this event make it possible to serve our clients completely free of charge.

Each day at Alpha brings the opportunity to love our neighbors as ourselves; including mothers, fathers, and their children. We help each client feel welcome and provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for them to talk through their options, fears, struggles, and hopes. We communicate to our clients that they are valued, speak life into their situation, share truth, and foster hope.
Our goal for this year’s Walk for Life is to raise $25,000. Our clients understand that Alpha is able to serve them completely free of charge, and provide for their needs, because someone they will probably never meet loved them enough to provide for their needs through their resources or time. If 100 participants raise a minimum of $250, then we will reach our goal!
